The residence has been designed for a family of four,  in Kasargod. Bold use of elements that dictate tropical modernism has been implemented in this venture to help the structure brave the harsh sun of northern Kerala. Sloping roofs passively help in the cooling down of the structure while the courtyards aid stack effect and ensures that the microclimate is a bit cooler. The courtyard also abets in the cause of flooding in natural light into the structure. The private areas and public areas are connected by a passage running through the yard. Folding doors flanking either side of the passage can be used to merge the two spaces into a single unit for multiple uses.
